Shipping Policy

We ship within the United States only, including APO/FPO addresses for apparel. We do not ship internationally, we do not export, and we do not import.

Ammunition and magazines are restricted in several states and localities. The full list is on the Age & State Restrictions page, and it is shown to you before you submit an order or inquiry.

• Flat-rate shipping, calculated at checkout. Orders ship within 2–3 business days.
• Delivery is typically 3–7 business days once the package leaves us.
• Tracking is emailed the moment the label is scanned.
• No age restriction and no state restrictions apply to apparel.

• All ammunition ships ground service only. Carriers do not accept ammunition for air transport, which means we cannot ship it to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico regardless of state law.
• Every ammunition package requires an adult signature on delivery. We cannot authorize a carrier to leave it unattended.
• Shipments to states that allow ammunition only against a permit or licence do not leave until we have received and verified a legible copy of that document.
• The shipping address must be a residential or business street address in your own name. We do not ship ammunition to freight forwarders or reshippers.
• If a carrier returns an ammunition shipment because it could not be delivered, we refund the product cost but not the shipping.

• Local pickup: we complete ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check at the counter, along with any state-required permit check or waiting period.
• FFL transfer: you tell us which dealer will receive it. We verify that dealer's licence directly against the ATF FFL eZ Check system before anything ships, and we ship only to the address on the licence — never to a dealer's home or a third-party address.
• Every firearm ships insured, with signature-required delivery and tracking retained as proof of delivery in our records.
• Handguns ship via carriers that accept them at their required service level, in accordance with carrier policy and federal law.
• The receiving dealer runs your 4473 and background check and hands the firearm to you. Any transfer fee that dealer charges is between you and them.
• Firearms ship within 3–5 business days of the receiving dealer's licence being verified.

All outbound shipments are packed and dispatched by Brown County Armory staff from our licensed premises. We do not drop-ship, and no third party ships on our behalf. Carrier tracking and delivery confirmation are retained with the transaction record for every firearm and ammunition shipment.

• Inspect your package on arrival. Report shipping damage within 48 hours with photos of the box and contents so we can file a carrier claim.
• If tracking shows delivered and you did not receive it, tell us within 7 days and we will open a carrier investigation.
• If we shipped the wrong item, we cover return shipping and get the right one to you.
