Terms of Use
Last updated July 28, 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with Brown County Armory. By browsing the site, adding an item to your cart, or submitting an inquiry, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by BC Armory LLC, an Indiana limited liability company doing business as Brown County Armory and Travis's Firearms. We are a federally licensed firearms manufacturer and dealer (FFL 4-35-013-07-9D-14401) operating from licensed premises at 3440 TC Steele Rd, Nashville, IN 47448.
Questions about these terms go to Travis@BrownCountyArmory.com or (317) 874-8751.
2. Eligibility
You may use this site only if you are legally permitted to purchase the products you are viewing. You must be at least 18 to buy a rifle, shotgun, or ammunition for one, and at least 21 to buy a handgun or handgun ammunition. Where your state sets a higher minimum age, that higher age applies.
You represent that you are not prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms or ammunition under federal, state, or local law, and that you are not purchasing on behalf of anyone else. Buying a firearm for another person is a straw purchase and a federal felony.
3. Firearms and ammunition are handled differently
No online payment for firearms or ammunition
Nothing in the Armory can be bought through the shopping cart. Firearms and ammunition are inquiry-only: you send us a request, we contact you, and we complete the sale in person or through a licensed dealer after all required checks are done. The cart and online checkout are used exclusively for apparel and accessories.
- Every firearm transfer is completed face-to-face at our counter or shipped to a licensed FFL of your choosing — never directly to an unlicensed individual.
- Every firearm transfer requires a completed ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check, plus any state-required permit, waiting period, or additional check.
- We may decline or cancel any firearm or ammunition transaction for any lawful reason, including a denied or delayed background check, an incomplete 4473, an apparent straw purchase, or anything that makes us doubt the transaction is lawful.
- Ammunition ships only to states where we are permitted to ship it. See the Age & State Restrictions page for the current list.
4. Orders, pricing, and availability
- Placing an order or submitting an inquiry is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. We accept it when we ship the item or confirm the transfer in writing.
- We carry limited quantities and often single units. If an item sells before we confirm your order, we will tell you and refund you in full.
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change without notice. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honor the error.
- You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, and for any local fees your receiving dealer charges for a transfer.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site to break the law, misrepresent your identity or eligibility, scrape or copy our catalog, interfere with the site's operation, or attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.
6. Content and accuracy
We write our own product descriptions and photograph our own inventory, and we try to get every specification right. Manufacturer specifications, availability, and legal requirements can still change, and used firearms are described to the best of our judgment. If a description is wrong, your remedy is the return and refund process described in our Refunds & Cancellations policy.
Nothing on this site is legal advice. Firearm law varies by state, county, and city and changes often. You are responsible for knowing and following the law where you live.
7. Intellectual property
The site's text, photography, logos, and design are owned by BC Armory LLC and may not be reproduced for commercial use without written permission. Manufacturer names and marks belong to their respective owners.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose for the website itself. Products carry whatever manufacturer warranty applies to them; we pass those claims through to the manufacturer.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Firearms are inherently dangerous. You assume full responsibility for the safe storage, handling, transport, and lawful use of anything you buy from us.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of a product, your violation of firearm law, or your breach of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Brown County, Indiana.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted here at the time of your order is the version that governs it. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
